Pengaruh Terapi Seni (Melukis) terhadap Fungsi Kognitif pada Pasien Skizofrenia

Abstract

Background: Clinical manife_$stations in schizophre_$nia re_$sult in psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations, de_$lusions, and motivational and cognitive_$ dysfunction. Cognitive_$ disorde_$rs in schizophre_$nia such as proce_$ssing spe_$e_$d, ve_$rbal me_$mory, visuospatial, atte_$ntion, and proble_$m solving. One_$ form of the_$rapy that can be_$ applie_$d to improve_$ cognitive_$ function is art the_$rapy. Objectives: to de_$te_$rmine_$ the_$ e_$ffe_$ct of art the_$rapy (painting) on cognitive_$ function in schizophre_$nia patie_$nts at the_$ Griya PMI Pe_$duli Re_$habilitation. Methods: pre_$-e_$xpe_$rime_$ntal de_$sign in the_$ form of a one_$ group pre_$te_$st-postte_$st de_$sign with a sample_$ size_$ of 30 pe_$ople_$ using purposive_$ sampling. The_$ instrume_$nt use_$d in this study was Monte_$ral Cognitive_$ Asse_$ssme_$nt (MoCA-Ina). Results: Most of the_$ sample_$s we_$re_$ male_$ (60.0%); the_$ dominant age_$ of the_$ sample_$ was in the_$ e_$arly adulthood cate_$gory (40.0%); the_$ e_$ducation le_$ve_$l was dominate_$d by E_$le_$me_$ntary E_$ducation (52.0%); more_$ sample_$s had non-pe_$rmane_$nt jobs (44.0%). The_$ hypothe_$sis te_$st obtaine_$d a significant value_$ of 0.000 (p<0.05), statistically the_$re_$ was a diffe_$re_$nce_$ in cognitive_$ability be_$fore_$ and afte_$r the_$ inte_$rve_$ntion. Conclusion: Art the_$rapy (painting) has an e_$ffe_$ct on the_$ cognitive_$ function of schizophre_$nia patie_$nts in the_$ Griya PMI Pe_$duli re_$habilitation.
